Better by Design

Engineered in accordance with NTN's design guide.

Chemically treated and mechanically interlocked parts for ultimate Polyurethane adhesion.

CNC'd precision manufacturing for optimum parts every time.

Compatible with OEM seals for all season usage.

See the benefits below:

Misalignment correction

Axial shock load suppression

Axial shock load suppression

When mounting bearings, alignment is key for bearing life, because it's impossible to align your prop shaft on all axis's perfectly, even if using the OEM mounting locations, the polyurethane can compensate for the small alignment discrepancies.

Axial shock load suppression

When launching a 4WD vehicle, the prop shaft wants to move axially (forwards / backwards) as the rear differential torques on it's mount location. The polyurethane absorbs the blow and prevents damage to the bearing races.

NVH reduction

Axial shock load suppression

Chemically bonded

When a spinning object hits a certain RPM (in this case the prop shaft), it will begin to resonate, this causes vibrations which are absorbed by the polyurethane before being transmitted to the cabin, reducing NVH (Noise, Vibration & Harshness).

Chemically bonded

All season durability

Chemically bonded

In addition to the mechanically interlocked design, all the steel components have a 2 layer treatment process before being over-molded with polyurethane to chemically bond the elements for long lasting durability.

The inner race has been CNC machined to the perfect tolerance to accept the OEM front and rear dust seals. These keep out water and dust and increase bearing life.

Fully serviceable

The bearing is press fit into the inner housing as recommended by NTN's bearing design guide and retained with a removable circlip, should you need to replace it in the future, the circlip can be removed and the bearing pressed back out.
